Question — ever since you've started writing these reactions to the news, I've wondered...are you a fan of Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music?

Thanks for commenting and listening! I'm afraid to say that I'm completely unfamiliar with the man and project..... but I'll be looking them both up shortly. Do you see similarities between him/it and what I'm doing here?

It is a 'future', set into a 1930s noir-detective novel, where the full truth is hurtful and as such, the news in print or audio is outlawed.

So, the news is broadcast orchestrally with cues and reactions of the events.

It reminds me of your own reactions to headlines.

Also...guns all play ominous violin lines when brandished! Something I think we need more of!

I can say this about the book, the schtick gets old quick...and then you get used to it...

I love when folks come up with independent ideas around the same kind of ideas because you used an entirely different map to get to nearly the same destination and that is amazing.
