As the White House burns and slashes, some very important things are being killed.

The New York Times reports that a “first-of-its-kind assessment of nature across the United States” was abruptly canceled for no stated reason….

….despite over 150 experts and scientists investing thousands of hours in research, reviews, and writing…

….and despite the major report being within mere weeks of completion.

Rather than let it die, the report’s lead authors have a different idea: find a way to publish it anyway.
